For Study Period 1, I got 3 credits (for units ssk12, ssk13, phi120).
I'm pleased, not bad for my first ever term at uni.... prior to which I thought I would fail miserably.
Let's see how I get on with History and Politics in Study Period 2!
In Study Period 3 (September 1st onwards) I'll be studying Global Politics, Shakespeare, Metaphysics and Classical Mythology next, should be a larf!

Congratulations! Are you still working at the library too or are you studying full time at uni? At the end of his first year at Manchester, taking Geography, Colin got the equivalent of a 2:1 in his exams. He is job hunting to earn money in the vacation but hasn't managed to get one yet. I employ him on the few sunny afternoons we've had digging out the brick ends, lumps of concrete and broken bottles from the right of way at the bottom of my garden. I am extending the growing area for vegetables. We are being urged to 'grow your own' now the threat of recession is looming and global warming is here.
It is freezing here in Brisbane, can't wait til it starts to warm up again. There's no crops in our garden apart from a banana tree at the bottom of the garden (and a mango tree that hangs over from next door hehe)but we're thinking of starting a vegetable garden in spring or summer time.
I am studying full time now but I'm looking at other library jobs and private sector jobs now that I am nearly a third of the way through my degree and have something to offer. I hope to finish within two years then go on to postgraduate study, or study for another BA, in fine art.
